We are a USDA Inspected facility with approved HACCP and SSOP plans. We have implemented Humane Handling procedures to handle your livestock with the best care possible.
Custom Harvest Basics:
- Custom harvest is on Monday and you must have an appointment.
- You need to have your animal at the plant no later than 10:00 a.m. on the Monday of your appointment.
- Unloading is on a first come, first served basis. We will try to get you unloaded in a reasonable time. Our humane handling procedures do not allow us to over crowd the pen. If your animal is a little on the wild side or if you have more than one animal you might be required to wait a little longer. We will do our best to get you unloaded in a timely fashion.
- All livestock must be in good health, with no known diseases. Livestock must be able to stand and walk in on their own. We do not except downers or dead livestock.
Packaging:
- All meat is vacuum packaged in 3 mil plastic bags using bone guard protection were needed and sealed using a commercial vacuum packaging machine.
- Vacuum packaging allows you to easily see what is in the package.
- It last longer than paper wrap and will be free of freezer burn as long as the vacuum remains.
- All meat is dressed, chilled, custom cut to your specifications, vacuum packaged, boxed and frozen. Listed below are the current prices and fees. Prices subject to change without notices.
Storage:
- Due to limited freezer space we ask that all orders be picked up within 5 business days of being notified.
- If you must leave your processed animal here you will be charged $1.00 per day per box. Example: If you have 4 boxes and you leave them here for 30 days you will be charged $1.00 x 4 boxes = $4.00 - $4.00 x 30 days = $120.00.
Beef Processing:
- $30.00 per animal harvesting/by-product disposal fee.
- $1.55/lb processing fee based on the hanging weight. This includes vacuum packaging and tenderizing round steaks.
- $0.30/lb for aging time beyond 10 days.
- $0.50/lb. to package one steak per package
- $50.00 per animal additional fee for animals over 30 months of age.
- $1.00/lb. to make cutlets or chicken fries.
- $1.00/lb. to make patties. All patties are 3 to 1.
- $10.00/customer to divide halves.
- $35.00/animal if you want to keep your hide
- Due to limited freezer space you must pick your order up within 5 business days of being notified. If your order is not picked up you will be charged $1.00/day per box.
Hog Processing:
- $30.00 harvesting/by-product disposal fee.
- $1.55/lb. processing fee based on the hanging weight. This includes vacuum packaging.
- $1.00/lb. for curing and smoking hams and bacons.
- $0.50/lb. for breakfast sausage.
- $1.00/lb. for fresh sausage links.
- $1.50/lb. for smoked sausage link. Additional $0.25/lb. for jalapeno. Additional $0.25/lb. for cheese.
- $4.50/lb. for regular summer sausage, this price includes the 40% added beef trim.
- $5.00/lb. for jalapeno & cheese summer sausage, this price includes the 40% added beef trim.
- Due to limited freezer space you must pick your order up within 5 business days of being notified. If your order is not picked up you will be charged $1.00/day per box.
Lamb and Goat Processing
- $110.00 flat processing fee. This includes harvesting, disposal of the by-product, cutting, vacuum packaging, boxing and freezing.
- Due to limited freezer space you must pick your order up within 5 business days of being notified. If your order is not picked up you will be charged $1.00/day per box.
